Toscana
Tuscany is bordered by Emilia Romagna to the north, Liguria to the northwest, the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west and Umbria and Marche to the east. Its landscape consists of two thirds hills, one fourth mountains and the rest is plains that form the Valley of Arno River. There is a magnificent sea coast and the area is a combination of both cities and countryside, as the rolling hills garlanded with cypress trees, lush wines and olive groves make way for sleepy villages and medieval hill towns. The gorgeous landscape, along with its artistic legacy, definitely make Tuscany a place worth visiting.
